Russell Patterson, SIOR, a Tyler, Texas native, founded Patterson Commercial Property Group in 2010 after a successful career with another Tyler- based commercial real estate firm. During his time in commercial real estate, Russell has negotiated successful transactions with such diverse tenants as New York Life Insurance Company, Trinity Mother Frances Hospitals & Clinics, Community Coffee Company, Advance Auto Parts, Fresenius Medical Care, Baker Hughes Incorporated, Carpenter Technologies, Northwestern Mutual Insurance, Stanley’s Famous BBQ, and many more.
Following graduation from Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas, Russell spent several years teaching U.S. and Texas History. During this time, Russell also earned a Masters Degree in Education Administration from The University of Texas at Tyler. His extensive education and diverse work background has proved invaluable for the challenging and rewarding world of commercial real estate.
In his spare time, Russell is actively involved in the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America (CCFA). He is also an avid runner - having completed three marathons and dozens of half-marathons. Russell is married to Diana, a Physician’s Assistant working in women’s health. Together they have three beautiful daughters. Russell is also a proud member of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR) with a specialization in Office Leasing and Sales.
Cole joined Patterson Commercial Property Group in 2017, after making the move back to his hometown of Tyler, Texas from Austin, where he spent time working in the insurance industry. He gained experience in commercial and property insurance after earning a bachelor’s degree in finance with a specialization in real estate and professional sales from the University of Alabama. Previous to this, he interned with a regional development company where he established his groundwork in the real estate industry.
In 2020 Cole founded P&I Real Estate Management, LLC with Russell Patterson, Patterson Commercial Property Group’s sister company. P&I is a full-service property management company specializing in commercial and multifamily management services.
Cole has completed transactions with a variety of companies, some of which include State Farm, Edward Jones, Wound Evolution & many local and national law firms.
In his spare time, Cole enjoys bird hunting, fly fishing, and spending time with his wife and two children, Charlotte & Jack. He is a member of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors, Greater Tyler Association of Realtors, Texas Association of Realtors, National Associations of Realtors and Ducks Unlimited.
