Russell Patterson, SIOR, a Tyler, Texas native, founded Patterson Commercial Property Group in 2010 after a successful career with another Tyler- based commercial real estate firm. During his time in commercial real estate, Russell has negotiated successful transactions with such diverse tenants as New York Life Insurance Company, Trinity Mother Frances Hospitals & Clinics, Community Coffee Company, Advance Auto Parts, Fresenius Medical Care, Baker Hughes Incorporated, Carpenter Technologies, Northwestern Mutual Insurance, Stanley’s Famous BBQ, and many more.
Following graduation from Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas, Russell spent several years teaching U.S. and Texas History. During this time, Russell also earned a Masters Degree in Education Administration from The University of Texas at Tyler. His extensive education and diverse work background has proved invaluable for the challenging and rewarding world of commercial real estate.
In his spare time, Russell is actively involved in the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America (CCFA). He is also an avid runner - having completed three marathons and dozens of half-marathons. Russell is married to Diana, a Physician’s Assistant working in women’s health. Together they have three beautiful daughters. Russell is also a proud member of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR) with a specialization in Office Leasing and Sales.
Cole Ihrig, SIOR, co-founded P&I Real Estate Management, LLC with Russell Patterson in 2020. As Managing Partner, Cole oversees the company’s day-to-day operations and leads its strategic direction and growth. Before founding P&I, Cole and Russell owned and operated another successful local property management company.
Cole began his career in the commercial real estate industry in 2017 with Patterson Commercial Property Group, P&I’s sister company. He joined the firm after returning to his hometown of Tyler, Texas, from Austin, where he gained valuable experience in the insurance industry. His expertise in commercial and property insurance was developed after earning a bachelor’s degree in finance with specializations in real estate and professional sales from the University of Alabama. Before this, Cole interned with a regional development company, where he built a solid foundation for his real estate career.
In his free time, Cole enjoys bird hunting, fly fishing, watching Alabama football, and spending quality time with his wife, Maggie; their two children, Charlotte and Jack; and their two dogs, Huck and Weller.
Cole is an active member of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR), specializing in Office Leasing and Sales. He is also a member of the Greater Tyler Association of Realtors, the Texas Association of Realtors, and the National Association of Realtors. Additionally, Cole serves on the Board of Trustees for Catholic Charities – Diocese of Tyler, an organization dedicated to assisting people in need across 33 counties in East Texas.
